New Moon is an action-adventure RPG on Roblox, developed by a team called moon+. It draws heavily on Demon Slayer, where players can choose to be Slayers or Demons. If you choose to be a Slayer, then you will master Breathing Techniques. On the other hand, if you choose Demon, then you will master to use of Blood Arts.

Slayer Progression

The Slayer has a total of 10 ranks: Mizunoto → Mizunoe → Kanoto → Kanoe → Tsuchinoto → Tsuchinoe → Hinoto → Hinoe → Kinoto → Kinoe. Final selection is the main factor. You must reach Kanoto and talk with the breathing trainer to initiate the Final Selection quest. Then, survive the wave-defense event, and after surviving it for 10 minutes, you will rank up.

Quick Tip: Always try to find high ground as the demon waves will spawn below.

Key Mechanics of Demon

Blood Demon Arts

It offers a unique Demon skills with their own progression system and a special PvP functionality. It allows a Demon to fight in powerful and specialized ways that help defeat their opponents. To unlock your BDA (Blood Demon Arts), you must complete:

• 10 missions.
• Defeat 10 Slayers (real players).
• Reach Intermediate Demon rank.
• Have 500+ ELO in PvP

Demon Progression

The Demon path is as follows: Fledgling Demon → Lesser Demon → Intermediate Demon → Strong Demon → Lower Moon 6 → Lower Moon 5 → Lower Moon 4 → Lower Moon 3 → Lower Moon 2 → Lower Moon 1 → Upper Moon. Remember, only the top 6 players in the Elo leaderboard will get the Upper Moon rank. Also, every time you rank up, you will get 5 skill points.

Key Locations

• Final Selection Teleporter: Outside the village, in a glade with purple flowers.
• Demon Cave: Find near the rocky trail from the village. It will lead to a dark cave surrounded by mist.
• Breathing Trainers:
  • Water breathing trainer: Go behind the waterfall. Exit village → Wisteria Trees → Waterfall.
  • Flame breathing trainer: Go outside the village near the cliff clearing.
  • Wind breathing trainer: Go to the bamboo-forest-like elevated area. You can climb there.

Tips and Tricks

Slayer

• Focus on missions to rank up early.
• Always use the P key to help locate trainers, ores, and important NPCs.
• In the Final Selection, reach high ground to minimize risk.

Demon

• Do missions + PvP aggressively to earn ELO (for BDA).
• Keep track of Slayer kills to unlock BDA.
• Skill points are a must, so use them wisely to invest in BDA abilities.

Nichirin Katana

Here is a list of things you need to do to craft the Nichirin Katana:

• Slayer rank Tsuchinoto or higher.
• 10 Scarlet Crimson Ore + 5 Scarlet Crimson Sand.
• A pickaxe to mine them (you can find the pickaxe via the “P” map/key)
• After collecting all of these, visit the Wandering Swordsmith NPC to craft the blade
